Can I find the 3D ones elsewhere?

Nope!
These are a ByteSizeTreasure exclusive-item.
Any other website claiming to sell them is a scam and should be avoided. 
Do the 3D Figures work?

NO.
As much as I wish it were possible, these are NOT functioning toys. They are made out of resin. Making them functional is beyond our capabilities. 
How much? And why do they cost that much?

Each Sharkagotchi is $100 USD (+shipping)

The cost of materials, production, and living has been increasing, so future batches may increase in cost.

Sharkagotchis are HAND-MADE & HAND-PAINTED by my husband. A LOT of time, attention, and materials go into each and every one. Due to their handmade nature, no two are exactly the same.

There's hours of clean-up, mixing custom colors, painting, and more. Production & painting takes about 4-5 for EACH Sharkagotchi.

I recommend making an account in my shop with your info and add anything else you want to your cart ahead of the release date to speed up the checkout time. 

There will be more in the future -- we typically make 1-2 batches per year.
