All orders embark on their journey from the Northern Virginia in the USA via the United States Postal Service (USPS).

Byte Size Treasure is a petite enterprise, lovingly helmed by a single captain, Rew. With the exception of items fulfilled by a third-party facility, every order undergoes the process of processing, packing, and shipping by yours truly.

Kindly bear in mind that there's a 1-7 day processing period for all orders, regardless of the chosen shipping method.

  • General Shipping Info

    Given the surge in orders and the ongoing challenges posed by the ongoing pandemic, I'm currently dispatching orders to the post office 1-2 times per week.

    Shipping costs are calculated based on the total weight of the items in your order, and you'll have full visibility of these costs before finalizing your checkout.

    General Shipping Delivery Times:

    • USA - 3-10 days
    • Canada - 1-3 weeks
    • Other Countries - 1-3 months

  • Made-to-Order Items Fulfullment Times

    Looking to snag some apparel, mugs, or blankets?

    These special items do require a tad more patience, as they are printed on-demand through a fulfillment company. They usually set sail using USPS Priority Mail, though sometimes they may embark on their journey via UPS or DHL.

    As of September 23, 2023, here's the current production timeline for these items:

    • Apparel & Tote Bags: 2-5 business days
    • Coffee Mugs: 2-5 business days
    • Throw Blankets & Beach Towels: 2-5 business days
  • Domestic (USA) Shipping

    When it comes to shipping, we've got a couple of options for you:

    • USPS Ground Advantage: This is the go-to choice for lightweight items under 1lb. It's not only budget-friendly but also incredibly reliable. You can typically expect your delivery within 3-5 business days.
    • USPS Priority Mail: If your order tips the scales at over 1lb, Priority Mail is the way to go. It's speedier than First Class and usually delivers within 1-3 business days.

    Ground Advantage & Priority Mail shipping options come with handy tracking numbers. Once your order sets sail, we'll shoot you an email notification complete with the tracking number. Do keep in mind that while we aim to provide accurate delivery estimates, they are not guaranteed and don't include our processing time.

  • Shipping Via Stamps

    For orders with fewer than 5 flat items (stickers and sticker sheets) I have an economical choice for you: a flat-rate, letter mail option available at checkout.

    I send these via USPS First Class shipping, and it's open to both domestic and international customers.

    A quick heads-up, though: this shipping option does not include tracking. Keep that in mind as you make your choice!

  • International Shipping Times

    While the shipping platform I use typically offers tracking for most countries, it's important to be aware that once your package departs the USA, there's a chance you might not receive an update until it's in the hands of your local postal system.

    In some cases, particularly for certain countries, this wait can extend to 2-3 months after your order's initial shipment. Please understand that I cannot provide a guaranteed delivery date for your package.

    If several weeks have passed, and you still haven't caught a glimpse of your package, I recommend reaching out to your local postal carrier for further assistance.

  • International Customs Fees

    For our international friends, please be aware that your country might impose customs fees upon the entry of your order. These fees are not covered by Byte Size Treasure and are the responsibility of the buyer. If a package is denied entry and returned to us due to unpaid customs fees, we regret that we cannot refund the original shipping fees.

    Additionally, please note that import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. I recommend checking with your country's customs office to determine these additional costs before making your purchase.

    Lastly, it's important to know that I will not undervalue merchandise or mark items as 'gifts' in an attempt to avoid customs charges. This practice is illegal and could jeopardize my business.

  • Lost Package Issues

    If your order hasn't made its grand entrance within the estimated shipping window and tracking information is either unavailable or stagnant, here are a few steps to take:

    1. First, it's a good idea to contact your local post office. They are the experts in navigating the postal system and can provide valuable insights.
    2. Expand your search by checking with your leasing office, neighbors, and any other relevant parties who might have information on your package's whereabouts.

    Once you've exhausted these avenues, don't hesitate to reach out to me, and I'll do my utmost to assist you. Please bear in mind that I don't have control over the postal system, and once your item is in the hands of USPS, its journey is beyond my influence.

    In cases where you suspect your package has been stolen or misdelivered, it's essential to contact your local post office and, if necessary, involve local authorities. Regrettably, I cannot offer refunds for lost or stolen packages.

  • Damaged or Missing Items

    • Damaged Items: I take great care in packing your items to ensure they reach you in pristine condition. However, if, by some unfortunate twist of fate, your item arrives damaged, please reach out to me within one week of delivery. Be sure to include your order number and attach photos of both the damaged item and its packaging.
    • Missing Items: Is there a noticeable absence in your order, perhaps a shirt, mug, blanket, or towel? These items are dispatched from a third-party fulfillment center and often travel separately from the rest of your order.

    While I do my utmost to ensure every item finds its way to you, I must admit that as a one-woman show, occasional mistakes can occur. If you're missing an item that's not designated as a third-party fulfilled product, please don't hesitate to contact me within one week of delivery, and I'll swiftly make it right!

  • Where I Don't Ship

    I'm thrilled to offer worldwide shipping to many corners of the globe! Regrettably, there are a few exceptions to this (last updated in February 2023).

    These exceptions are typically based on factors such as the lack of shipping insurance and a higher occurrence of missing packages. I've noticed these challenges, especially in certain countries, including Russia and other Commonwealth of Independent States, Argentina, and Mexico.

    The USPS also maintains its list of countries they currently cannot accept packages for. To check the most up-to-date information, please refer to their website.

    Additionally, certain countries have implemented new shipping and packaging regulations that I'm currently unable to accommodate. This includes Germany, Belgium, France, and Austria.
