Order & Shipping
Do you have any pet allergies precautions?
Yes, I do! I live in a home with a cat and a dog, and while I can’t guarantee packages will be 100% free of pet fur, I take every precaution to minimize allergens. I clean frequently, keep soft-surface products (like fabric items) stored away from areas my pets frequent, and seal them to help keep them fur-free. Additionally, I sanitize my packing station table before pulling and packing each batch of orders.

Please let me know in your order notes if you have any severe allergies, and I'll take extra care in preparing your order!
My order is a gift

If you're interested in knowing if I can include a gift message - I SHORE CAN! Make a note in the Order Notes on the cart page that you would like a gift message and what you would like it to say!

Receipts don’t include the pricing of the items in the order. So no worries on that!

At this time, I don’t offer gift wrapping services.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of the items in your order and will be displayed on the shopping cart page before you check out. For most US-based orders, shipping starts at $4.25, while international shipping begins at approximately $12.

Stickers and sticker sheets are eligible for a flat-rate, letter-mail option. Prices are $1.50 for USA orders, $1.75 for Canadian orders, and $2.75 for the rest of the world. Please note that this option does not include tracking and I cannot be held responsible for missing orders.

How long will it take to receive my order?

In-stock items are usually processed and shipped within 2-7 business days. Pre-order or made-to-order items may have longer processing times. You may also experience longer processing times during busy periods (such as convention season, an influx of orders after a shop update, or major USA holidays). 

Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method chosen, your location, and of course, the post office. Please remember that once your package is with the post office, its movement is totally out of my hands.

Typically, delivery times are:

USA - 3-10 days

Canada - 1-3 weeks

Other Countries - 1-3 months

All domestic (US) orders have tracking (unless you select the untracked sticker mail option) so you will be able to follow your package until it arrives.

An item is missing from my package!

Is the item that is missing a shirt, mug, blanket, or towel?

These items are shipped from a third-party fulfillment center and will be shipped separately from the rest of your order. There are a few other products in the shop that are also made by the same fulfillment center and will be labeled on the product page as "Made to Order." You will get a separate shipping notification for those items.

If the item missing is not one of the items listed above, that means I made a mistake. I do my absolute best to make sure all of your items get to you - but I am a one-woman show, so mistakes can happen.

If you're missing an item not marked as third-party fulfilled product, please contact me ASAP and I’ll fix it!

When will my order ship?

All in-stock items typically ship out within 2-7 business days, with potential increases during busy periods (such as convention season, an influx of orders after a shop update, or major USA holidays). 

Items that are made-to-order (shirts, tote bags, towels, mugs) may take a little bit longer (processing times for those are written on the listings).

Upon placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. To track your order status, visit the "View Your Order" page via the link in that email. This lets you track your order status. Alternatively, if you use the Shop app, you can get updates that way!

Once your order has shipped, you'll receive another email, this time with a USPS tracking number. (Sticker-only orders that select "no tracking" at checkout do not get tracking numbers, but will still get an email confirmation when shipped!)

How do I track my order?

You should receive a tracking number with your order’s shipping notification email. If you can’t find the email, you can use the chat box in the bottom corner of the website - provide your order number and your email to get an update on your order and any tracking information. 

Sticker orders placed with cheaper, untracked postage will not get a tracking number

My tracking information isn't updating.

USA:

If tracking information isn’t updating, it may be because USPS hasn’t scanned it in yet. It could also be a temporary misplacement. Typically, tracking information updates within 1-2 days. 

If the status on your tracking doesn’t change within 48hrs, contact USPS directly through their website. 


International

Please be aware that different countries handle tracking numbers very differently. Most of the time, the tracking number for standard shipping will stop updating once the package has left the USA - however, your package is most likely still in transit. If you’re worried about its location, please contact your local shipping carrier. 

If your package does not arrive within 6-8 weeks of the ship date, please send an email to help@bytesizetreasure.com with your order number and I will assist you.

I entered the wrong address on my order.

I have an address validator installed that will double-check your address at checkout, please take care to make sure it is correct. 

If you entered an incorrect address, email me at help@bytesizetreasure.com ASAP with your order number and the correct shipping address. If the order hasn’t shipped yet, I can still change the address.

If your order has already shipped, I am not responsible for missing orders sent to incorrect or undeliverable addresses provided by you, the buyer, and I cannot offer refunds. You can try to use USPS Package Intercept to have the Post Office hold an item, change delivery address, or return to sender. There is a fee associated with this service. 

If the order is returned to me in good condition, you may purchase additional shipping and have your order reshipped, or you may receive a refund minus the cost of shipping.

If you've recently placed an order and noticed an address mistake, please reach out to me immediately by responding to your order receipt. I can easily update the address if the order hasn't been shipped yet.

Once I've shipped an order, please understand that I cannot be held responsible for missing orders sent to incorrect or undeliverable addresses provided by you, the buyer. Regrettably, I cannot offer refunds in such cases."

Do you ship worldwide?

I'm thrilled to offer shipping to many corners of the globe! Regrettably, there are a few exceptions to this (last updated in December 2023) that I want to acknowledge:

These exceptions are typically based on factors such as the lack of shipping insurance and a higher occurrence of missing packages. Notably, challenges have been observed in specific countries, including Russia and other Commonwealth of Independent States, Argentina, and Mexico.

It's important to note that USPS currently has a temporary suspension of international mail acceptance for a limited list of countries (details at USPS Service Alerts: https://about.usps.com/newsroom/service-alerts/international/welcome.htm).

Furthermore, certain countries have implemented new shipping and packaging regulations that, unfortunately, I am currently unable to accommodate. This list includes Germany, Belgium, France, and Austria. 

I appreciate your understanding as I navigate these challenges to provide the best service possible.

How long will my order take to arrive? (International)

Most international orders can take 2-7 weeks to arrive depending upon where you live. 

There is always the possibility that items get held up in customs for inspections. Customs delays can add 1-2 weeks to transit time. Please note that any customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer. I will not mark international orders as gifts or at a lower value to help avoid customs and/or taxes. It is illegal and puts my business at risk.

Fulfillment time and shipping time for made-to-order items may vary as they are processed from a third party.

I think my package might be lost...

Once your package leaves my hands, I regret to inform you that I no longer have control over its journey. I provide tracking numbers for all orders, and tracking is generally reliable for monitoring your package's progress.

However, if you suspect your package may be lost, please contact your Local USPS Post Office as they are far better equipped to assist you in the following scenarios:

  • Your mail carrier may have marked the package as delivered prematurely; it could still arrive in a day or two (this is more common than you might expect).
  • Your package might have been delivered to a neighbor. I suggest checking with your neighbors, as many carriers will inquire about this before initiating a claim.
  • If your mail carrier attempted delivery but was unsuccessful, they usually make another attempt on the next business day. Sometimes, waiting an additional business day can resolve the issue.
  • Verify that the address provided was accurate and up-to-date. Occasionally, problems arise if an outdated address is associated with your account.
  • For international (non-U.S.) orders, it's not unusual for tracking to pause for several days, especially when clearing customs. Please be patient if you encounter this situation.
  • International (non-U.S.) orders may have customs fees due before delivery. Contact your local postal service promptly to avoid the package being returned to the sender.

Refunds, exchanges, or reshipments will not be provided for packages marked as "delivered" with a shipping label that matches the original shipping receipt. In most cases, I do not offer refunds or replacements for packages labeled as "in transit" because they often eventually arrive or are returned to us. Refunds will not be issued for international packages left unclaimed at customs.

If your package has been marked as undeliverable for any reason, it should be returned to the sender. Upon its return, I will assess the situation and offer either the opportunity to reship the items to you, (with repayment of shipping fees) or a refund of the order total (minus the original shipping fees and taxes).

Can you combine more than one order together?
I can combine orders and refund shipping overage as long as no orders have been shipped out yet (and none of the products are made by a fulfillment service). Contact me ASAP with the order numbers of the orders you would like to combine!
