Refund policy

Returns
My return policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days has passed from the date of delivery, I cannot offer a refund or exchange on your order. 

To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it - including original packaging.

Non-returnable Items: 

  • Gift Cards
  • Digital Downloads
  • Items marked as "Seconds/B-Grades" or "Final Sale"
  • Items purchased at an in-person event
  • Made-to-Order items (including, but not limited to apparel, tote bags, towels, and mugs)
  • Any and all Face Masks
  • Custom or Personalized Items

To complete a return, I require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Any item returned not in its original condition, has damaged or missing parts, or returned more than 14 days after delivery may be subject to only a partial refund.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, you will be sent an email to notify you that I have received your returned item. You will also be notified of the approval/rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. (Actual processing time of refund will depend on your bank/payment institution.)

Late or Missing Refund
If you haven't received your refund yet, check your bank account.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale Items
Only regular priced items may be refunded.

Exchanges
I only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send me an email at help@bytesizetreasure.com and then send the item to: Byte Size Treasure, PO Box 15457, Alexandria, VA 22309 USA.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you'll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, you'll me emailed a gift certificate.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping
To return your product, mail your product to: Byte Size Treasure, PO Box 15457, Alexandria, VA 22309 USA

You will be responsible for paying for shipping costs for all returns. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

If you are shipping an item worth over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. I cannot guarantee that I will receive your returned item without tracking information.
